BURLINGTON, Vt. — The Vermont office of the U.S. attorney says three people are facing charges in two methamphetamine cases in the town of Hancock.

Prosecutors say 45-year-old Michael Wood and 20-year-old Steven Arnold pleaded not guilty Tuesday in federal court to charges they conspired to manufacture and distribute five grams or more of methamphetamine.

Court documents say agents from the Vermont Drug Task Force made controlled purchases of methamphetamine from each of the men at their residence in November 2012. The men were later arrested.

In a separate case, 21-year-old Leslie Eramo, formerly of Hancock, pleaded not guilty Wednesday to charges of conspiracy to manufacture and distribute methamphetamine during fall 2012.

Wood was ordered held pending trial. A detention hearing has been sentenced for Arnold. Eramo was released on conditions.
