Comments Off on Drug bust leads to four arrests in Rockmart
A multi-agency investigation ended last week with four arrested in Rockmart on drug charges.

The investigation lasted more than a month and included the Cedartown Police Department’s Narcotics Unit, the Polk County Police Department’s Narcotics Enforcement Team (NET), and the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, according to a press release.

The investigation led to a traffic stop on Yorkville Highway and a search warrant at 138 Church St., Rockmart, the press release said.

The arrests occurred March 28, according to Polk County Jail docket reports.

Those arrested include:

April Garner Campbell, 32, of 138 Church St., Rockmart, charged with methamphetamine possession and possession of drug-related scales.

Scott Wesley Wooding, 35, of 138 Church St., Rockmart, charged with methamphetamine possession, methamphetamine possession with intent to distribute, and trafficking methamphetamine.

Stephen Ray Larkin, 29, of 222 Barber Road, Rockmart, charged with methamphetamine possession, methamphetamine possession with intent to distribute, trafficking methamphetamine, and obstruction of officers.

Rigo Martinez Enrriquez, 32, of 33 Ira Drive, Tifton, charged with methamphetamine possession, methamphetamine possession with intent to distribute and trafficking methamphetamine.

Campbell and Wooding have been released on bond. Larkin and Enrriquez remain in the Polk County Jail.

The Polk County Police Department’s K-9 Unit and the Polk County Police Department’s Patrol Division also assisted in the investigation and provided additional assistance at both locations, according to the press release.
