MESQUITE, Nev. (AP) — Mesquite police say three Utah residents found with stolen checks, methamphetamine and cocaine also had a 1-year-old boy with them at the time of their arrest.

Police say West Jordan resident Shelby Crump, Kearns resident Nathan Crump and Magna resident Alex Lambrose were arrested Friday in the parking lot of a credit union in Mesquite. They face charges including forgery, conspiracy and child endangerment.

Officers say they responded to reports that a woman was trying to cash stolen checks at Mountain America Credit Union on Friday afternoon.

Police say they found the adults and the child in a truck in the parking lot.

The adults were arrested and later taken to a Las Vegas jail.

The Crumps’ young son was taken to the Department of Family Services in Las Vegas.
