Comments Off on Pair abandoned car, woman found with meth-making chemicals in Port Orange

PORT ORANGE, Fla. — Port Orange Police Department officers said they responded to a report of a suspicious man and woman who abandoned a car on Woodview Drive.

Police found the pair, Timothy John Wolfe, 27, and Mindie Nicole Mock, 36, in the parking lot of the Ravenwood Shopping Plaza on Clyde Morris Boulevard.

Mock had a black backpack that police said they searched and found items used to produce methamphetamine.

Mock was arrested and charged with manufacture of methamphetamine, possession of precursor chemicals for the production of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police said Wolfe had prescription medication in his possession without a valid prescription and was also arrested.

Mock and Wolfe are both residents of Daytona Beach.

They were transported to the Volusia County Branch Jail.

Mock’s bail amount was set at $5,500.00.

Wolfe’s bail amount was set at $250.00.
