Laurens County deputies arrested two people after finding meth while serving an arrest warrant at a Ware Shoals house last week.

 


Debra Bayne, 50, of 1761 Power House Road, Ware Shoals, was charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, unlawful disposal of meth waste, and possession of methamphetamines in connection with the incident. Jordan Moody, 21, of 80 Smith St. Extension, Ware Shoals, faces charges of manufacturing methamphetamine, unlawful disposal of meth waste, and possession with intent to distribute meth stemming from the arrest.

Officers went to one of the suspect’s house on Power House Road early the morning of March 28 and found the man and woman at the residence. According to a Laurens County Sheriff’s Office report, officers found 1.1 grams of meth on the male suspect and a small quantity of meth in the female suspect’s home. Deputies also located a bag with several items commonly used to cook the drug.
