Mark Bouillion, 47, of 998 Seip Road, Chillicothe, and Thomas Reed Jr., 45, of 6822 Ohio 220 West, Waverly, are charged with illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs, which is a third-degree felony.

The calls from city residents indicated a van was behind a home at 133 N. High St. and might be involved in drug activity. When officers found Bouillion and Reed inside the van and received permission to search the vehicle, they found chemicals commonly used to make methamphetamine and a bottle officers said was involved in the making of the drug.

The Chillicothe Fire Department Hazardous Response Team was called to the scene and detectives and officers continued to investigate the scene.

Bouillion and Reed were taken to the Ross County Jail.
