A Flowery Branch woman was arrested Friday after bringing methamphetamine to an Athens rehab center and giving it to women in the program, according to a police report.

Alexa Christine Orr, 26, was court-ordered to complete the program due to a prior federal charge of conspiracy to traffic methamphetamine.

According to the report, Orr brought more than 34 grams of various pills to Women’s Services in Athens and gave them to several women who tested positive for methamphetamine.

When Orr was confronted about the pills, she told police they were diet pills. According to the report, Orr had 53 pills tucked away in an Orbit gum container and multiple other pills in her purse.

Orr insisted the pills were diet pills, however at least 75 tested positive for methamphetamine, eight as Fastin (Schedule IV), four for hydrocodone and 10 for Xanax, according to the report.

Orr was charged with three counts of possession of Schedule III, IV, and V drugs with intent to distribute and possession of methamphetamine in connection with the incident
