Comments Off on Four arrested in Rochester Meth bust; Meth lab discovered near elementary school

ROCHESTER, Ind. (WISH) – A meth lab bust in Rochester led to the arrest of four people Thursday.

Officers were sent to the 300 block of Fulton Ave. on reports of an active meth lab. On scene, officers found an active methamphetamine lab, items commonly associated with the manufacturing of methamphetamine, methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia, our partners at the Pharos Tribune report.



Inside the home, officers also found four minor children. The children were placed in the care of the Fulton County Division of the Indiana Department of Child Services. Two other children were also present at the time of the raid and have also been placed in the care of DCS. The childrens’ ages ranged from 5-17 years old.

On scene, police arrested 22-year-old Emily Thompson, 32-year-old Calvin Bridges, 37-year-old Blanford Tolbert, and 32-year-old Summer Tolbert. They were all taken to the Fulton County jail.

The Tolberts face charges of maintaining a common nuisance, conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine, and neglect of a dependent.

Thompson faces charges of conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine, reckless possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana under 30 grams and visiting a common nuisance.

Bridges faces charges of manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of pre-cursors, possession of methamphetamine, and maintaining a common nuisance.
