Comments Off on Kokomo Police Department Drug Task Force uncovers Methamphetamine lab

On July 28, 2013 Sergeant Mark Miller and Sergeant Brad Reed were on patrol in the 1100 block of East Jefferson Street when they detected a strong chemical odor commonly associated with manufacturing methamphetamine.

Investigators of the Kokomo Police Department Drug Task Force subsequently conducted a search warrant at 1111 East Jefferson Road. An amount of methamphetamine and items related to manufacturing meth were seized. The Indiana State Police Meth Suppression Team assisted on this investigation.

The following subjects were arrested at that location as a result of the investigation:

Thomas P. Drake, age 38 of Kokomo, for Manufacturing Methamphetamine as a class B felony, Illegal Drug Lab as a class D felony, Possession of Methamphetamine as a class D felony, and Possession of a Syringe as a class D felony. No photo available at this time.

Samantha K. Pearson, age 28, of 1111 East Jefferson was arrested for Illegal Drug Lab as a class D felony, Possession of Methamphetamine as a class D felony, and Possession of a Syringe as a class D felony. No photo available at this time.

John Faulkner, age 40, of 1111 East Jefferson was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine as a class D felony. No photo available at this time.

All subjects were transported to the Howard County Criminal Justice Center with no injuries reported. Anyone with additional information is asked to call the Kokomo Police Hotline at 765-456-7017.
