COBLESKILL — Cobleskill police arrested two Schoharie County residents Wednesday for allegedly making methamphetamine at a Cobleskill home.
Police said Christopher Clark Woods, 27, of Richmondville was charged with third-degree unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine and a fugitive of justice charge. Laura K. Kieru, 28, of Cobleskill was charged with third-degree unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine and misdemeanor fifth-degree conspiracy, police said.
Police said Cobleskill officers and state troopers raided Kieru’s home Wednesday and found the ingredients for and components of a portable methamphetamine production system. Police say Woods is wanted in Tennessee for allegedly violating his probation for promotion of methamphetamine.
Woods was sent to the county jail without bail. Kieru was sent to the jail on $5,000 bail. Both will appear in Cobleskill Town Court Tuesday.
