NEW HARTFORD – A New Hartford man who already has a criminal record for making  methamphetamine with the intent to sell it now faces more drug charges, New  Hartford police said.

Following a raid at 302 Washington Drive, Jeffrey Martin, 33, of  that address, charged with two counts of felony third-degree criminal possession  of a controlled substance, felony unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine,  misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor criminal use of  drug paraphernalia, police said.

Martin was arraigned in Town of New Hartford Court and sent to  Oneida County jail.

Found inside the residence was methamphetamine, a quantity of  prescription pills and laboratory equipment with chemical agents to make  methamphetamine, police said.

The New York State Police Contaminated Crime Scene Emergency  Response Team responded to the scene to secure the equipment.

Involved in the raid was the Oneida County Drug Enforcement Task  Force, Utica/New Hartford Emergency Response Team and New Hartford  police.
