WASILLA — Alaska State Troopers arrested a 20-year-old man at his residence Thursday for selling heroin and methamphetamine drug to juveniles.
According to a trooper dispatch, the Mat-Su Drug Unit began an investigation into Clay Katzmarek’s activities after receiving a report Feb. 14 that he had provided heroin and methamphetamine to a 17-year-old juvenile.
Troopers say the investigation found that Katzmarek had been providing heroin and methamphetamine to several 15- to 17-year-old juveniles.
He was arrested on seven counts of drug misconduct, two counts of second-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance, five counts of and third-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance, and for violating conditions of release.
Katzmarek was remanded into custody at Mat-Su Pre-Trial in Palmer where bail was set at $100,000, plus a court appointed third-party to watch him.
Troopers say investigation into additional victims and suspects is continuing.
