CEDAR GROVE, W.Va. — A Kanawha County couple face charges after one of the suspects was accused of stealing money to rent a truck and then the suspects allegedly attempted to use the truck to run a methamphetamine laboratory.Police Say Suspects Were Attempting To Use Rental Truck For Meth

Ronald Dodrill and Susan Williams are both charged with attempting to operate a meth lab. Dodrill also is charged with burglary.

Court records said Dodrill stole checks and a credit card from an elderly woman’s home in Cedar Grove earlier this month. He allegedly used the card to rent a U-haul truck.

Police said several meth-making ingredients were found inside the rental.

Dodrill and Williams are being held in the South Central Regional Jail without bond.

    That would explain the smells in several trucks I’ve rented over the past couple of years. And hint: this is prevalent in rental cars, too. 😉 Gross. My guess is if all rental cars were subject to environmental testing, a lot of companies would be fined heavily and entire car fleets retired.
