LANCASTER ā€“ Two Berlin residents were indicted Friday on charges of operating a methamphetamine lab at their 101 Maple Street residence. Linda Greenlay, 44, and Anthony Elwell, 40, of Berlin were each charged with one count of manufacture of a controlled drug and two counts of attempt to manufacture methamphetamine.

The pair was arrested in September after the N.H. Attorney General’s Drug Task Force, along with the federal Drug Enforcement Administration’s clandestine lab team executed a search warrant on the Maple Street property.

The indictment states the pair were in possession of numerous items used to manufacture methamphetamine including lithium batteries, camp fuel, ‘Drano’ crystals, plastic funnels, bottles with liquid and powder residue, lighter fluid bottles, and other items that constituted a substantial step toward the alleged crime. They were also charged with manufacturing over five ounces of the drug.
