Two Rome men remained in jail Thursday and one woman was released on bond after they were accused of a variety of drug offenses, according to Floyd County Jail reports.

The three live at the Saga Inn, 3189 Martha Berry Blvd. Justin Alexander Sparks, 24, Room 105; Eric Jason Lesperance, 40, Room 106; and Daera Nikole Wells, 29, Room 105, were arrested at the hotel Thursday morning after police found drugs and drug-related objects in their possession.

Sparks had a glass pipe with methamphetamine residue, scales, plastic bags and individual plastic bags with marijuana prepared for sale. Wells had less than an ounce of marijuana on her. Lesperance had two bags with methamphetamine he’d just bought from Sparks and gave officers a fake name.

Sparks was charged with felony counts of possession of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute. He also faces misdemeanor counts of possession of marijuana and possession of drug-related objects.

Lesperance was charged with felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor counts of possession of drug-related objects and giving a false name and birthdate to an officer.

Wells was charged with felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor counts of possession of drug-related objects and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana. She was released Thursday on $5,700 bond.
