Comments Off on Several one-pot Methamphetamine labs seized during drug bust in St. Joseph County

FABIUS TOWNSHIP, MI — A drug bust netted police several one-pot methamphetamine labs Wednesday in St. Joseph County, authorities said.

Narcotics investigators with the St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Office responded to a house in the 1500 block of Millard Road in Fabius Township after receiving a tip about a person with outstanding warrants who was alleged to be making meth at the address, according to a news release issued by the sheriff’s office.

At the scene, investigators said they found evidence that meth was being made at the house and obtained a search warrant. Inside, they found “several one pot meth labs as well as finished product,” according to the news release.

One person, whose name has not been released, was arrested at the scene.

Police said they plan to seek charges of operating/maintaining a meth lab, meth possession and maintaining a drug house against “other residents not home at the time” of Wednesday’s search, according to the news release.
