A bus passenger who was hired to deliver $100,000 in methamphetamine to Houston was recently arrested at international bridge II, according to federal court records.

The suspect, of Guanajuato, Mexico, was charged with importation of a controlled substance, possess with intent to distribute a controlled substance and conspire to possess with intent to distribute methamphetamine.

According to court records, the suspect entered the United States in a commercial bus at about 1:30 a.m. May 2. An X-ray scan of his suitcase revealed the hidden drugs.
