Comments Off on Portage police find One-Pot Methamphetamine labs on Regay Street off Sprinkle Road

PORTAGE, MI — Portage public safety officials conducted a raid Monday that uncovered a methamphetamine lab, according to a press release from the Portage Department of Public Safety.

The raid was conducted about 9 a.m. in the 5200 block of Regay Street of Sprinkle Road.

“Upon officer’s arrival, a male and female subject were located in an unattached shed on the property,” the press release said. “A search warrant was obtained for the property and a search was conducted resulting in the discovery of three ‘one pot’ style methamphetamine labs, numerous other methamphetamine manufacturing components, a surveillance system, and a 22 caliber handgun.”

The release said the case is still under investigation and charges of manufacture methamphetamine and felony firearm will be pending.
