ROUND ROCK, Texas – Police seized approximately $1.5 million in methamphetamine after a traffic stop along Interstate 35 in Round Rock late Monday morning.635677527799440949-meth

According to Round Rock police, a 2008 Nissan Rogue was stopped for a traffic violation around 11:50 a.m. Monday near the 2900 block of North IH-35.

A police K-9 alerted officers, and a search yielded 15 bundles of meth inside the car’s gas tank, weighing 36 pounds.

The driver of the vehicle, 22-year-old Rosalinda Lopez of Laredo, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver over 400 grams. She was booked into the Williamson County Jail on $350,000 bond.
