Comments Off on Domestic violence call to Kingman Police Department results in arrest of McArthur Ponder, 42; Found in bathroom trying to inject Methamphetamine

KINGMAN – On July 6, Kingman Police officers arrested McArthur Ponder, 42, of Kingman, on felony charges of possession of dangerous drugs and possession of marijuana, along with misdemeanor charges of criminal damage by domestic violence and disorderly conduct by domestic violence.

Officers responded to a disturbance at a home in the 400 block of Sunrise Avenue at about 8:50 p.m. Ponder had reportedly damaged the inside of the home.

He was found inside a bathroom, reportedly trying to inject methamphetamine as officers searched for him.

He initially resisted but soon followed officers’ commands.
