Comments Off on Lesa Annette McCulloch, 52, and Shanda Gibson, 35, of Madisonville, found with Methamphetamine, pot, paraphernalia

Two Madisonville women are being held at Loudon County Jail after being found with marijuana, other narcotics and drug paraphernalia.

Noticing a van moving at a slow pace entering the parking lot of Philadelphia Elementary School just after midnight April 27, Loudon County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Jamie Ketner wrote in his report that the driver, Lesa Annette McCulloch, 52, said that she was lost, but the deputy noticed an open bottle of beer in the vehicle.

During a search of the vehicle, Ketner found drugs and paraphernalia, including three straws, a baggie with a white powder substance, about five grams of marijuana, a set of digital scales and a pack of rolling papers.

Shanda Gibson, 35, was a passenger in the vehicle, Ketner said.

“In the back floorboard behind the driver’s seat there was a small handbag. The following items were found: one meth pipe, one marijuana pipe, one set of scales, one calculator, four tweezers, two pipe cutters, six batteries, seven pipes, one needle, one white pill (3203 Watson), two boxes of razor blades and approximately one gram of marijuana,” Ketner said. “On the passenger side door there was one needle with a clear substance in it.”

Both women said the items did not belong to them, Ketner said.

Gibson was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, Schedule II drug violations, Schedule III drug violations, simple possession/casual exchange and tampering/fabricating with evidence and held on $15,500 bond.

McCulloch was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, Schedule II drug violations, Schedule III drug violations, simple possession/casual exchange and tampering/fabricating with evidence and held on $15,500 bond.
