The Huntsville Police department says that agents with the Madison-Morgan County HIDTA Drug Task Force (STAC) seized almost two pounds of “ice” methamphetamine and arrested two people suspected of trafficking the drugs Friday in Huntsville. 55a56dd2a166b_image

According to officers, Pablo Hernandez and Rafael Nava were taken into custody at the Holiday Inn on 2600 Old Fairway Road. Officers allegedly found almost two pounds of “ice” methamphetamine, with a street value of nearly $30,000.

Both Hernandez and Nava were arrested and booked into the Madison County Metro Jail.  They are charged with attempting to commit a controlled substance crime and trafficking methamphetamine. Their bonds were set at $500,000 each.
