TRAVERSE CITY — An Interlochen woman could face charges after authorities said they found items used to make methamphetamine in a Green Lake Township residence.

The incident began Sunday when Grand Traverse County sheriff’s deputies responded to an unrelated matter at the home, authorities said. They contacted Traverse Narcotics Team detectives after they found items used to make meth inside.

A warrant search uncovered chemicals, “components and apparatus” used in making meth, according to a news release. Authorities arrested the woman, 24, on requested meth-related charges.
