Comments Off on Seven women and men accused of dealing Methamphetamine near Cracker Barrel in Bullitt County

Seven people were arrested Friday outside a Cracker Barrel in Bullitt County after police said they discovered more than 10 pounds of crystal methamphetamine during a traffic stop.

According to court records, the Bullitt County Sheriff’s Office was investigating 48-year-old Carl Curtsinger, of Louisville, after a vehicle belonging to him was involved with transporting and distributing narcotics.636081525701997613-CynthiaMartinezSanchez

Around 9:45 p.m. Friday, their investigation led them to witness a hand-to-hand drug transaction outside Cracker Barrel, located in the 200 block of Brenton Way in Shepherdsville, court records show. They initiated a traffic stop and found a black backpack in plain sight inside the vehicle, which contained at least 10 pounds of crystal methamphetamine.

Curtsinger was arrested, along with 39-year-old Erik Burton and 37-year-old Geraldo Montoya, of California, and 26-year-old Eddie Gradillas, 23-year-old Jose Garcia, 23-year-old Alan Palau and 20-year-old Cynthia Martinez-Sanchez, of Tucson, Arizona, court records show. They were each charged with first-degree drug trafficking in a controlled substance.

All seven were arraigned in Bullitt County District Court on Monday, court records show. Burton is being held in Bullitt County Detention Center on a $20,000 cash bond, while the others are each being held on a $10,000 cash bond.
