HORACE, N.D. (KFGO) – A janitor at Horace Elementary School has been fired after a lockdown and the discovery of drugs in the building.

Cass County Sheriff’s Dept. Sgt. Tim Briggeman says the custodian has been tied to methamphetamine. He says she’s been interviewed, but not arrested. He calls it an ongoing investigation.

The school was placed in administrative lockdown. The West Fargo School District said it was a personnel matter and children were never in danger.
