CORRY – A 39-year-old Corry woman was arraigned Friday on drug charges after police accused her of operating a suspected methamphetamine lab at a residence in the 100 block of West Columbus Avenue.

Hope M. Edwards, a resident of the aforementioned address, was arraigned Friday on charges of criminal conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine, liquefied ammonia gas precursors and chemicals, operating a methamphetamine lab and illegal dumping of methamphetamine waste, manufacture of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of ephedrine/pseudoephedrine.

Police discovered the suspected meth lab Thursday morning.

Edwards was placed in the Erie County Prison on $40,000 bond.
