Comments Off on Lubbock County grand jury indicts Brittany Tyson, 26, of Lubbock, who allegedly hid bag of Methamphetamine in her vagina

A 26-year-old woman is facing felony drug charges in connection with an October arrest during which Lubbock County sheriff’s deputies say they found methamphetamine hidden in her genitals.

Lubbock County grand jurors on Tuesday returned an indictment against Brittany Tyson for a first-degree felony count of possession with intent to distribute between 4-200 grams of methamphetamine.

A Lubbock County sheriff’s deputy arrested Tyson on Oct. 24 near the intersection of Slide Road and South Loop 289.

According to a search warrant affidavit, the deputy saw Tyson make a traffic violation in a 2009 silver Saturn Vue on 50th Street and South Loop 289 and attempted a traffic stop. Tyson reportedly ignored the deputy, entered the on ramp, drove eastbound on the Loop at 45 mph, exited the ramp and stopped at the Slide Road intersection.

While she was being booked into the Lubbock County Detention Center, deputies reportedly found .9 grams of methamphetamine hidden in Tyson’s bra and about 48 grams of methamphetamine hidden in her vagina, the affidavit states.

Jail records show she was released on bond Oct. 26.
