PRINCETON, Ill. — A Dunkirk couple was held on $200,000 bond after police seized a large amount of methamphetamine in Princeton, Illinois.

According to the News Tribune, Anthony D. Dloniak, 38, and Samantha Dloniak, 35, have been charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, a felony, after a traffic stop Wednesday at 2:36 p.m. The charge carries an extended sentencing range of nine to 40 years in prison.

Police say the Dloniaks hauled 454 grams (roughly 1 pound) of meth; that is likely a record-quantity seizure for Bureau County, the News Tribute noted.

Both motorists were also charged for allegedly possessing 18 pounds of marijuana during the traffic stop on Interstate 80 near the La Salle County line.
