The burned and decapitated bodies of two men were found in a methamphetamine lab Thursday morning in Juárez, authorities said.

Two severed heads later were found in an ice chest at 5:10 a.m. near the Camino Real mountain road in west Juárez, the Chihuahua attorney general’s office said.

The charred bodies were discovered at a home equipped with security cameras and equipment to produce crystal meth, authorities said.

Investigators were working to confirm that the severed heads belonged to the bodies.
